Rod Dorilás, an Associate at Robert Allen Law, served in the U.S. Navy from 2008 to 2014 as a Petty Officer Second Class and Assistant Engagement Control Officer, earning a bachelor’s degree from Florida International in 2016 and a J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law in 2020.
Rod’s career experience includes interning at both the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of the Assistant Attorney General as well as the Office of White House Counsel. He was appointed to the U.S Department of Commerce as counsel to Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross where he provided legal advice and guidance on all legal matters related to the 2020 Decennial Census, Bureau of Industry and Security, congressional correspondence, congressional oversight, and FOIA litigation. He went on to be the Director of Pro Vol, External and Public Affairs for the 2020 GOP Convention.
Prior to joining Robert Allen Law, Rod represented and counseled small businesses, entrepreneurs, and start-ups on business, corporate governance, and litigation related matters in West Palm Beach, Florida. He was also a GOP Candidate for Florida’s 22nd Congressional District in the 2022 midterm election cycle.
Rod works on corporate, international business and yacht transactions and is based in the Palm Beach office of Robert Allen Law.
