A native of Miami, R. Thomas Farrar is a seasoned litigation attorney whose wealth of knowledge and experience is a valuable resource to the firm. Mr. Farrar’s practice areas include Complex Commercial Litigation, International Law, Arbitration, Civil Practice, Trial Practice, Class Actions, Commercial Litigation, Intellectual Property, Legal Malpractice, Professional Liability, Trademarks and Copyrights. A member of The Florida Bar since 1969. he is admitted to practice in all state and federal trial and bankruptcy courts in the State of Florida, including all trial bars, all state appellate courts, the federal appellate courts for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits, the Federal Court of Claims, the Federal Tax Court, and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Mr. Farrar also has substantial experience in arbitration and mediation, both domestically and internationally. As a member of the North American Council of the London Court of International Arbitration, Mr. Farrar frequently counsels clients on avoidance of liability from claims and reduction of impact of threatened or potential claims. He also provides international consulting and governmental representation of foreign governments in connection with governmental relations with the United States and dispute resolution on behalf of several foreign central banks.
