Experience
Gil Acevedo’s practice focuses on the areas of commercial real estate transactions, financing and leasing.
Mr. Acevedo represents investors and developers in acquisitions and dispositions of office and apartment buildings, gasoline stations, shopping centers, and vacant land as well as financial institutions and private lenders in acquisition financing and refinancing of commercial real estate. He also handles lease transactions, including the negotiation and drafting of leases in connection with office buildings and commercial real estate. Part of his practice also involves the real estate aspects of tax structuring and restructuring and litigation matters.
Mr. Acevedo's past representations include Regions Bank, Terrabank N.A., and an investor in the acquisition financing of a shopping center in excess of $34 million.
